The GHCA has been notified about an upcoming watermain construction project on Tyndall Avenue between Hillcrest Avenue and Serenity Place and El Sereno Drive and Grandview Drive.  Work will begin in December 2024 and is expected to last approximately 14 weeks.

During construction Tyndall Avenue will be open single lane alternating traffic, but residents will be able to access their homes throughout construction.  BC Transit has been notified and will be communicated with during the construction. 

Project notification signs will soon be set up around the neighbourhood, but with the Canada Post strike, Saanich is unable to do any mailouts to residents.  Saanich may be posting notification in the local Times Colonist and Saanich News and will ensure that our Saanich Website, Hello Saanich, and all Saanich Social Media sites are updated with project information.  Here are links to Hello Saanich and our Traffic Advisory pages:
