We are so excited to be returning to the UVic campus and continuing the removal of invasive English ivy. Join us to help save trees from ivy and increase space for native plants!
This area is right around the headwaters of Bowker creek and the protection of this habitat is important for improving the health of the entire creek!
Absolutely everyone is welcome! No experience is needed; we provide instructions, gloves, tools, and tasty snacks!
These activities are a great way for people to connect with one another and nature, building friendships, and strengthening community bonds!
WHEN: from 9:45am – 1:00pm on Sunday Dec. 1
WHERE: UVic West Campus Greenway: right across from Parking Lot 10 (near the intersection of Gordon Head road and Cedar Hill road)
WHAT: Invasive English Ivy removal
