The District of Saanich is participating in BC’s new virtual Home Energy Planner pilot program and we are looking for help from residents!

Test the BC Home Energy Planner

We invite you to help to test a free online tool, where you answer a short questionnaire and get a free home energy report, which includes an energy score and recommended impactful upgrades. You can then choose what home energy upgrades you’re interested in to get a personalized plan for your home. This provincial program is free – it’s simple and quick. If you own a home in Saanich we need your help in testing the tool in this pilot phase! Complete your questionnaire now! You can provide feedback to sustainability@saanich.ca or directly to the program developers through the online questionnaire.

Participate in a Focus Group Session

Have you used the new BC Home Energy Planner? The BC Home Energy Planner design team is seeking people who’ve used Planner to join a 60-minute video call to talk about your experiences. Participants will receive a $150 gift voucher to Home Hardware, Safeway or Save-on-Foods. A limited number of spots are available.
